SPEAKER_01:This was a tough week, guys. It was a difficult week. If you were... I was going to say if you're in the United States, but...
SPEAKER_00:No, it was all over.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Everywhere. A
SPEAKER_01:tough, tough week.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, I saw in London that there was a huge gathering for him and, you know, just a movement that is starting to go across the world, which I think is what, you know, I mean, I don't know if that's God's plan, but it's definitely working out. And yes, everyone, we are talking about Charlie Kirk. And the just horrific assassination of him. There's just so much evil in this world. But, you know, light will shine through the darkness.
SPEAKER_01:And I just, I hate the fact that I saw it. Unexpectedly, right? Exactly. I wasn't, you know, I had heard that it happened. And I was, you know, scrolling through Twitter, X, whatever you call it. Um, and it was just there. It was, it was just there. And I just, it stunned me. It, it just, I mean, because every other time you've seen an assassin, assassination, it's always been, you know, it's a, it's a video that's been stopped right, right beforehand.
SPEAKER_00:Right.
SPEAKER_01:But now
SPEAKER_00:we're blurred out or anything like that. Exactly. But now,
SPEAKER_01:now with social media and everybody carrying phones everywhere and recording everything, I mean, people, People were recording him talking and just put it out there.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, it's just I just wish that there was some kind of. I don't know, you know, not necessarily censorship, but I mean, you know, we have the rating system in movies for a reason, which I think nowadays those ratings are lacking as well on what is being put out there. But I mean, I remember when an R rating, you know, was very strict, you know, and now it's kind of toned down to, well, NC-17. you know instead of R and this social media nightmare that we have with us is I mean it is proving that it is just a detriment to society what social media is I mean the internet is one thing to look up stuff and things like that but social media I mean look at all the just the evil that was portrayed of joyousness of a murder I mean of an assassination because all because of his right to do his first amendment of freedom of speech you know he wasn't a politician he did discuss politics but he wasn't a politician and it's just it's just heart-wrenching to just see how much evil is in this world and how social media has been the corruption of our society and of people I mean look at all the young kids that are committing suicide because of being bullied online being bullied through social media you know you put something out there and it's out there for good no matter if you try to take it down you try to you know wipe it off it doesn't get wiped off it's it's out there for anybody to grab anybody to see You've got all these places that if you sign up for something, then your information is immediately sold to other companies and bots to be able to harass you or bombard you with products to have to buy or telling you that, hey, you've been hacked because somebody bought your... I mean, it's a nightmare. It is an absolute nightmare. But I will say this, that evil always thinks it wins when something drastic like this happens but the fire and in the light that shines and grows even brighter from the ashes from the from the you know the the darkness that comes is amazing I mean this this is now just launched a movement that has been kind of I guess kind of underlying kind of sitting in weight you know kind of building slowly which is the turning point in our youth you know and you know everybody in our youth that has been a follower or had feelings about God and stuff like that have kind of kept their voices low because of how loud the evil voices and those who are condemning and just spewing hatred and evil well now that voice is changing now it's going to you know they're gonna the world is gonna see because we've already I mean already seen it this like I said Charlie was not a politician but he was beloved across the world across the world and now his movement is gaining more momentum and just I mean it's amazing to see what God is doing even though he he took a martyr in order for it to ignite and and and build
SPEAKER_01:exactly and people who are posting that he said hateful stuff and he's you know he was against this he was against that i'm like show me where
SPEAKER_00:exactly
SPEAKER_01:a a credible source where he said it
SPEAKER_00:right you know not an ai do do over that exactly you know adjusted his volume and you know his voice
SPEAKER_01:and i want to say one thing to believers who are afraid to speak out. One reason why I'm not afraid to speak out, but I don't I don't know what the words I'm trying to say are, but I'm a believer and I think that everybody around me knows that I'm a believer. But if I put it out there on social media or if I try to speak out in public, I'm afraid that the people who come against me or who challenge me, I don't know biblical scripture well enough to combat what they're saying. Mm-hmm. And so if they come at me like, well, why is this? Why is this? Why is this? I don't know the verse to say, oh, well, you know, Matthew 7, verse 26 says this. And, you know, I don't know that enough. But what I want to say is it's okay to say, you know what? I don't know why. Why does evil exist in this world? Why did this have to happen? I don't know. I do not know. But I believe that God knows. And there's a reason behind everything and you just have to trust and trust in what
SPEAKER_00:his will being done exactly whatever that will
SPEAKER_01:happen I remember after 9-11 happened and you know unfortunately this happened the day before 9-11 but I remember going to church the Sunday after 9-11 happened and asking that question how can how can God allow this evil to exist how can God allow wars to happen and all these in Right. Well, that was
SPEAKER_00:the whole thing. I mean, he cast out the rotten angels to, you know, the planet, you know, and I don't know if it, I mean, I don't necessarily believe that it's just our planet. I believe that there's other planets that, you know, that evil is on the planet. And, you know, I mean, that's that's also where it comes down to faith. I mean, that's what believing in God and Jesus dying on the cross for our sins is all about. And it's all about a step of faith, you know, because we don't tangibly see it. But, you know, those who are believers and those who, you know, want to believe in you have to walk on faith. You have to take a step of faith, you know, and that's the whole reason why when God God created man that he gave us free will, you know, he didn't want slaves to him. He didn't want, you know, he, he wants you to worship him. He wants you to, to, you know, further his, his, um, you know, love and everything like that. But the thing is, is he gave us free will and that's where evil comes in because evil comes in to be able to play with that free will and twist it and make it, you know, make you think that you're doing one thing when you're doing the other. the other because you know the sad thing is is all these people that have committed these murders and committed these assassinations and done evil things a lot of them are brainwashed thinking that they're doing good for humanity because of all the vile verbiage and the vile just thoughts that are being put out there by social media by the media by you know the the evil side. You know what I mean? I mean, that's, what's happening is there. They're being brainwashed. Cause I mean, once you're set, once you've heard, he's a Hitler, he's a Hitler, he's a Hitler, he's toxic. He's this, he's this, he's a fascist. He's a fascist. This, I mean, once you hear that over and over and over again, and it's coming from every single angle, it's not just one angle that it's coming from. It's coming from social media. It's coming from, you're getting it visually. You're getting audio audible. You're seeing, you know, in real life thing, happen, you know, I mean, where people just don't even care if somebody stabbed, you know, to death, they don't even, they don't even look to even see if they can help the person. They completely ignore them. I mean, this is just the evil is taking over. And I know that Charlie's, you know, his, his foundation and what he was pushing for turning point, you know, was, was focused on the youth and bringing the youth back to God and, and, and trying to find let the youth see what what is a good path you know what is a what is a solid foundation that this that this United States was you know based on you know is family and faith and and just you know and family can be any kind of family you know I mean it doesn't it doesn't have to you know be the family you're born with it can be the family that you adopt or the family that you bring you know that you create around yourself but the problem is is that we've lost the family value We've lost the things that are common sense, the good, the things you know are good. We've lost that. And that's what I think that this taking place and the fire and the igniting of those little embers that are now just going to grow. Because you're seeing all kinds of people that are now like, hey, we need to let our voice be heard.

SPEAKER_01:48 hours after her husband was brutally assassinated on live tv not live tv but live on the internet for everybody to see forever and her kids to possibly see it one day for her to have the strength to come and and speak and you know thank everybody for their outpouring of love and support and her saying that you know his calling is not going away
SPEAKER_00:no I mean you have not silenced
SPEAKER_01:right the person who did this to him just you've you've created a million more Charlie's and I mean she stayed so strong and I know I was bawling watching it and I know you probably had tears in your eyes and I'm just thinking oh my gosh for her to have the again strength I don't I mean it was it was all it was God yes that's It's the Holy Spirit. Right. Right. freedom and love and compassion. I mean, I watched so many videos of him at college campuses and he never once in those videos raised his voice. I mean, he welcomed the debate. And some of these college students were out there and they were just trying to get at him and get at him and say this, that, and the other. And he just came from a place of love.
SPEAKER_00:Right. And he wanted them to, you know, Tell me why you feel this way. Tell me what makes you think what you're saying is right. And we may not agree, but let me rebuttal that. Let me give you another thought.
SPEAKER_01:He was so respectful.
SPEAKER_00:He was.
SPEAKER_01:And I think it was called the Prove Me Wrong Tour. He'd go to college campuses and, you know, prove me wrong.
SPEAKER_00:Or it was, yeah, prove it or prove me wrong, something like that. But I mean, it's, you know. I
SPEAKER_01:mean, he stands on the foundation. of God and God's word
SPEAKER_00:right
SPEAKER_01:and you know prove to me why when you're saying what you say and you believe what you believe prove prove me wrong prove what I'm saying to you about what God says and what his word says prove to me where that's not right
SPEAKER_00:absolutely
SPEAKER_01:but he said but again he was so respectful and he didn't you know yes I know there are people on both sides who who
SPEAKER_00:are extreme
SPEAKER_01:who are extreme and you know say things they should and say and cut you down and call people names and it's on both sides. But he was not like that. He never once said, you're stupid for believing that or how dare you or you're going to hell because of this, that or the other. No. I mean, he came from a place of love and he was trying to make heaven crowded.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, absolutely. And he has. I mean, he definitely got to For me, he got Jesus' well-done servant.
SPEAKER_01:Good
SPEAKER_00:and faithful servant. Well done. And now watch what I do with what you've done. That's the thing. Now watch what your hard work, Charlie, has done for my kingdom. Watch what happens. And that's what we need. I mean, our youth is lost. But the great thing about it is it's not just the youth. I mean, adults are... are starting to change. You know, they're starting to speak what their truth and what they know and things like that. You know, I mean, that's the, that's the, that's the beautiful thing about it is that it's everybody, you know, speaking up and, and, and, you know, speaking out their faith, letting, letting the darkness in the world see that there's a lot more light. There's a lot more light. We let you have your, your speech and let you, You have your time, but now it's time to change.
SPEAKER_01:Right.
SPEAKER_00:It's time to change.
SPEAKER_01:And I know this has made me clean up my friends list.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01:You know, I'm seeing people.
SPEAKER_00:And I'm thankful for, I'm thankful that, you know, I'm not thankful that this happened, but in my heart and in my faith that I'm, I'm glad this has happened because now you get to see the true snakes in the grass that are, you know, wolves in sheep's clothing, those that act like they're good, but then they make remarks and celebrate this atrocity.
SPEAKER_01:And there are people out there who have said, he didn't deserve this, but...
SPEAKER_00:Anytime you say but. Exactly. Anytime you say but, you're trying to justify what you're about to say. And that's the thing.
SPEAKER_01:And how many people have lost their job Not
SPEAKER_00:enough.
SPEAKER_01:Because they're, I mean, again, people, the internet is forever.
SPEAKER_00:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:And so when you post these hateful things and you come out and celebrate things like this, you're good. I don't want you teaching my child. No. I don't want you operating on me. I don't want you to be my dentist. I don't want you to.
SPEAKER_00:Right. I don't want to have anything to do with you.
SPEAKER_01:But I don't wish death on you.
SPEAKER_00:No. Because you said that stuff. Thank you for saying what you said and thank you for having your opinion and guess what now that lets me know where you come from and where you stand and you know what I don't want you in a part of my life I don't want you a part of me I don't want you to benefit from the blessings that are coming from me now if you repent and you are you know truly you know feel bad and ask for forgiveness from God and stuff like that then I can I can do that I can forgive it because you know like they always put And they always say, and this is everybody, you know, when Jesus was coming up to the woman that was about to be stoned by the crowd. Okay. And, you know, he said, okay, for the, whoever can cast the first stone that doesn't have any, you know, that doesn't have any sin, go ahead, you know, but then everybody stops at that part of the, of the, of the scripture, but they don't go on to where Jesus talks and says, says, you know, let the truth be known when he goes to that woman after, you know, after the crowds have disappeared and moved on. And he says, woman, you've been saved. Don't sin anymore. Get out of your sin. You know, he's not justifying what she did, you know, and what she's done. But he is saying, look, they cannot because they understand that they are full of sin, but you can't keep sinning. You have to stop this This is, you know, the truth that you need to. So, you know, that's the thing that gets me about a lot of people who quote scriptures that aren't religious or that aren't, you know, that familiar is they grab little pieces. They grab little pieces of the scripture instead of where the whole scripture is talking from the beginning of it to the end of it. What is actually being said? You can't just take little bits and pieces. You have to understand what's the context of what is being said. and how it's being said. And that's the thing that bothers me most about people who quote scriptures that don't know the scriptures that don't know the Bible and don't know, you know, they need to learn. They need to be taught, you know, and that's where, that's where Charlie was at. I mean, he was, you know, when people spit out some part of a scripture to him, he would say, okay, you know, and that's that he would, he would tell them, you know, well, yes, that was said, but this is the, why it was said, if you look at the beginning of this, and then you look at this. And then you jump to this scripture, you know, which absolutely lets me know that he was truly moved by God and was there to help because he never went to college. Okay. But he could, he could rebuttal and he could talk with anybody. Didn't matter where you were. If you were a scientist that is a, you know, a rocket scientist, you know, he still could communicate. And, and that's all from the Holy spirit. That's all. That's all from the Holy Spirit. And that's why when you were talking about just a few minutes ago, when you were saying about, you don't know the scriptures that much and you feel like you can't rebuttal or give a response to it. That's where I just say to you that right before you respond, just say, Jesus, God, Holy Spirit, give me the words to say. Give me... Give me the knowledge that I don't have so that I can stand up for you in a honest and biblical way. Right. Because I've had to do that quite a few times where I don't know what to say. And, and I've just said, and I said it out loud, but not where they, the person that I was talking to could hear it. It was just like, Lord, give me the words, father, just give me the words. And then I would start talking to the person and stuff would come out of my mouth that I don't know where I know where came from, but not, you know, me knowing it. And, you know, I could see the person that I was talking to either change or get more defensive and more, you know, wanted to get away from me, wanted to leave, wanted to move and go on. And, you know, then after it's done, I sit there and say, okay, thank you, Lord. Thank you. Hopefully I changed their opinion. Hopefully I, you know, I know you gave me the words to say and the things to say, and I thank you for And all the glory be to God. So that's what you've got to do. I think too many people get scared of that and don't ask for the help from God and Jesus to give them that. Let me speak truth from my words that you give me. And that's, you know, let me be a vessel.
SPEAKER_01:Right.
SPEAKER_00:So when you, when you come up with people that are like that, that are, you know, barking at you and saying, well, you don't know this and you don't know that. And you don't know that. You know what? God, give me the words. Now, here's what I'm going to say, you know, and just, and just let that flow through you. You know, enough scripture, you know, enough things from one being married to me for so long, you know, and it, you know, from going to church when you were little and stuff like that, because a lot of things, you know, it's, it's, you can hear these stories about people that went to church and, and, and grew up religious and then, and then walked away from it. But then they had like a dramatic, scary or near death experience that came across them. And scriptures came out of their mouths that they didn't even remember knowing, you know? And, and that's where God looks after his children, you know? I mean, and, and, You know, that's the beautiful thing about it.
SPEAKER_01:Right. Well, I'm 54 years old and I'm reading the Bible through. I'm doing a Bible study right now this year. And I feel like I, and I, I read the Bible through, I think we talked about it a couple of years ago. And I think I was just like, I
SPEAKER_00:read, I read the scriptures and I was like, I just need to do it.
SPEAKER_01:I check it. I did it. I did it. I did it. Cause I mean, now I'm listening to it online and I'm going through while you're reading it while I'm reading it. And I'm just, it's like, I've never, I've never heard this before in my lifetime.
SPEAKER_00:And that's, and that's the That's a wonderful thing. People, evangelistic people, I mean, just, you know, that are spewing things and they don't go to the word to see if what is being told to them is the truth. Right. Because unfortunately, you know, Satan has evil in every aspect of life. Every single aspect. In the church, there's evil, you know, because it's corrupted, you know, in spots, you know, and that's why people are like, well, you If they're such a religious person, you know what? They may have started as a religious person or they may be using that religion, that religious aspect as their sheep, a wolf in sheep's clothing, you know, to be able to bring people away from God, you know, and explain why, because they're, you know, supposedly a higher up religious leader or, you know, I mean, that's the thing. I And he says that the Antichrist is going to be somebody that people think is a religious person.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, yeah. And he's, I mean, we talked about it in the Bible study I was in this morning. Oh, see. Yeah, that, you know, he's going to be very charismatic. Yeah. And, you know, a lot of Christians are going to believe that he is the chosen one. And he's going to get a lot of, a lot of people are going to go to him.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, he's going to, he's going to corrupt them. And that's the thing that believers have to also, you know, be aware of. And that's why checking what you're hearing, you know, and, and, and looking deeper into making sure that what you're being told and stuff like that, you know, but then again, those that are actually telling the truth and that are, and that are, you know, spreading the good news and the word and stuff like that, you know, evil is going, Satan's going to try to corrupt their dialogue, you know, and, and, and convince people that, you know what, no, they're, they're, they're, they're, you know, they're full of sin. They're not they're not doing that and you know what yeah everyone is full of sin that's what happened to when we got that free will you know when Adam and Eve just went against the rule one rule and eight of the tree and you know we're tempted by Satan so then there you know that's where we're stuck with where you know we're stuck with having to deal with the evil that can masquerade
SPEAKER_01:I remember years ago when we were trying to find a home church we went to a church denomination that we've never been to before and there was not a Bible in a pew there was not a Bible there but we always take our Bible no matter what church we go to we're always
SPEAKER_00:taking our Bible
SPEAKER_01:and there was a pastor up there who started quoting scripture and you opened our Bible and looked at that scripture
SPEAKER_00:and it didn't
SPEAKER_01:not a thing what that person was saying was
SPEAKER_00:truthful
SPEAKER_01:exactly Exactly. And I might have chalked it up to, oh, they might have just misspoke. But just other things that the pastor was saying and just the church just felt
SPEAKER_00:cold. Yeah, it didn't feel like the Holy Spirit was there. It didn't feel like it was on the up and up. It didn't feel like it was truly a gift.
SPEAKER_01:Right.
SPEAKER_00:And
SPEAKER_01:they say always find a Bible-based church. And I don't think that was a Bible-based church. And we could not get out of there quick enough. Right. We were walking out, and you were just like praying to the Holy Spirit, you know, please protect us as we're walking out. And I didn't like it because the kids were little,
SPEAKER_00:and
SPEAKER_01:I think we took them to the Sunday
SPEAKER_00:school part. Yeah, the Sunday school part. And then they paraded them up. They paraded them
SPEAKER_01:up to the front, and we're making them do, I don't even remember what, but it just felt.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it wasn't, it wasn't, it didn't feel right. It almost felt
SPEAKER_01:like Scientology-like.
SPEAKER_00:Well, I don't know what Scientology, you know what I mean? I don't know. around that, but it didn't feel, it didn't feel Christian.
SPEAKER_01:Right. They weren't bringing the kids up front to, you know, sing their little, you know, cute little Bible songs and, you know, anything like that. It just, it just felt like I didn't like it. So thankfully we got out of there and we found a better
SPEAKER_00:church.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Yeah. But get in a good Bible based church. If you're wanting to know, um, the two Bible studies that I'm listening to right now are the Bible recap and also heart dive.

SPEAKER_00:so podcast that i mean that would that would be because then you're not getting you know the corruption of youtube you know because youtube does have i mean
SPEAKER_01:but the ones i listen to i mean i watch them on youtube
SPEAKER_00:right but i'm just saying that it's in my mind it's you Yeah. YouTube is fine, but podcast, you know, you're, when you go to a podcast, you're going just like to ours, you know, you, you go to our, you come to our podcast, you listen to our podcast and, you know, you, you hear what we're saying and then, you know, you can rate us, you can, you can let us know if you are interested in hearing more things or if that, you know, Hey, I didn't like what you had to say, you know, that's the, that's the best thing to do. And what that does is that helps those podcasters just like it helps us to be able to know okay well we either hit a nerve or you know what okay so people aren't interested in that and that allows us to be able to adjust our podcast to reach more people but that's what other people are doing you know they're giving their podcast and you're being able to listen to what they're having to say and those that want to follow you know click it click it like subscribe and they're there following it you So that's a wonderful thing. And that's the beauty of what I say about podcasts because you're getting the individual. It's not being corrupted by any other outside influence. And that's where I think that the podcasts are great. So if you are following podcasts, I mean, if you're following ours, I highly recommend give those podcasters that you're following, let them know how you feel. Rate them. You know, give them some kind of input and some kind of understanding because we don't know if we're touching people in ways and we're out there gaining more, you know, listeners if we don't hear from you and get rated by you to be able to know where we stand in what we're actually saying to you guys. But the thing is, is those people that are forcing that point of view on you and not allowing you to make the decisions for yourself of whether it's something that you are interested in and want to learn more of or that you want to blow it away they think that well you're you're pushing me to the side so you don't understand you don't understand it's not that's not the case you've got to make your own decision that's where free will and choice comes from so that's just it's you know my little my little two cents

SPEAKER_01:speak with family members family therapists I mean whatever don't stay hold up in your little corner and go online and

SPEAKER_00:I mean everybody everybody needs to

SPEAKER_00:needs to go out and take a walk take a walk without anything or you know get back to nature go out to the woods and just kind of go to a Just go and sit and just listen to nature and just decompress. Let it get out of your system. It's still going to be there. It's not going anywhere. But for you and your sanity and for your peace of mind, please just try, if you can, to just set it down and get away from it for an hour or two or 24-hour fast on it.
SPEAKER_01:Right, for sure. I like what the governor of Utah said. He said, go touch grass
SPEAKER_00:yeah

SPEAKER_00:go touch grass go hug someone go talk to someone that you disagree with or that disagrees with you and just talk about something else go just be be at peace with them you know family members that are that are you know estranged you know try to try to try to come to a common ground you know spread peace spread love spread joy that's it
